Poppa Mac (Geoff Mackay)
Cowboy Poet, Preacher & Storyteller
Poppa Mac was born in Manitoba in 1960 and grew up throughout Western Canada.
Drawn to the Cowboy Life style at an early age, Geoff worked on ranches throughout Western Canada as a wrangler, and chuck wagon cook. He also found work inside the rodeo arena as a rodeo clown. He can still be found helping out in a pasture working cattle, or in a rodeo arena working as part of the crew.
Poppa Mac’s poetry and stories are 100% true except the parts that are made up. He has way of sharing real life in poetry and stories that connectswith others. He has been blessed to perform for audiences at trail rides, rodeos, cowboy churches, and gatherings all over Western Canada and the United States.
Geoff “Poppa Mac” and his wife Kim live on a small acreage in Grande Pointe Manitoba. He continues to travel extensively performing his brand of poetry and sharing God’s Word.
