The Doll Sisters are a young Celtic Americana duo who captivate audiences with their haunting harmonies, beautiful instrumentation and stellar songwriting. They started out singing in the little log church built in 1926 near their families’ farm, and have now developed into multi-instrumentalists and fierce songwriters. On guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin and bodhran (Celtic frame drum), Jenna and Shelby’s musical stylings do not disappoint. Receiving rave reviews and radio airplay, the girls’ album ‘The Road’ was their debut into songwriting, and that album has brought a lot of great things their way. Just a few of them are:

**NOMINEES – 2011 CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC AWARDS for ‘Young Performer of the Year’ in Toronto, Canada
**Opening act for RICK MERCER OF ‘THE MERCER REPORT’ – 2013 Keyano Theatre – Ft. McMurray
**PRE-SHOW for CELTIC CROSSROADS at JACK SINGER CONCERT HALL – BD&P World Music Series
**RECIPIENTS OF RAWLCO RADIO & UP 97.7 FM RECORDING GRANT
**CHOSEN TO SHOWCASE AS YOUNG ALBERTANS – 2012 Alberta Arts Touring Alliance in Ft. Saskatchewan

The girls are now finishing up their second album recording due to be released the summer of 2013. The album is full of The Doll Sisters original songs written in their signature style. They will be touring with the album later in 2013, so keep watch on their website and Facebook pages to see when they’re coming to a town near you!
