Performers Opportunities

The Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association is dedicated to seeking and sharing opportunities for its members to perform. Here are the latest:

  1. ACPA Member Todd Nakamura put out a call for two or three poets to join Ponies, Potluck and Poetry on Saturday, September 1, 2018. There is free camping and a small honorarium. For more details contact Todd
  2. Rosemary Mennonite Church needs 1 or 2 Cowboy Poets/Storytellers/Musicians, or one couple,  for September 9th 2018 for 11:00 worship service and for an outreach Cowboy BBQ in our local park. They have a few of our own local musicians to “fill in” the gaps for the BBQ as well. We are in Rosemary, AB (1 1/2 hours south of Calgary, 30 minutes north/east of Brooks, AB).Our hope is that whoever is available would be able to take most of our worship service and then provide humor/music/poetry for our outdoor BBQ as well. We would need the person(s) from 11:00 – 3:00. Let us know your thoughts, give us some names we could contact and also what the cost could be. Pastor Frank Krulicki
  3. ACPA Members are reminded that the deadline for Trail’s End Gathering performers applications is August 15, 2018.
