To all that participated as a performer, sponsor, committee person, volunteer, media or audience member at the 6th Annual Lee Earl Memorial Scholarship Cowboy Gathering:

On behalf of the Gathering and the family of Lee Earl, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your contribution of time, talent, money, applause, hard work, coverage and energy that you provided to make this years show a whopping success. More than 90 performers participated in this year's event.

The event seemed to run smoothly and without complications from beginning to end. And all that attended reported having a very good time.

It is with regrets, that the committee must announce that the 2010 gathering was the final event for the Lee Earl Memorial Scholarship Cowboy Gathering. Scholarships will continue to be issued until the fund is depleted. Mitigating factors for the retirement of the event include the uncertainty of having a future venue available coupled with the committee's desire to move on to new and diversified projects.

Thank you all again - the last 6 years have been on heck of a ride!
